What we collect, and why
To prepare your reading we collect the details you give us at the order form: the recipient's name, date, time and place of birth, your email address, and your consent choices. Birth details are used for exactly one purpose, computing and writing the reading you ordered. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; voucher codes are checked against the campaign list you bought from.
How long we keep it
If you ticked the retention box, we keep your chart and the birth details needed to recompute it, so an annual refresh stays possible. If you didn't, we keep only the order record needed for accounting. Either way, the Delete my data button on your reading page removes your reading, your chart and your birth details permanently, at any time, no questions asked.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel, hosting, storage of your reading and chart (USA)
- Neon, order database (USA)
- Anthropic, via Vercel AI Gateway, the model that writes your chapters sees your first name and chart placements, never your email
- Resend, delivery emails
- Stripe, card payments (direct purchases only)
- Open-Meteo, birthplace lookup receives only the place name you type
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. The delete button on your reading page is the fastest route; for anything else, reply to any email we've sent you and a human will sort it. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't run advertising trackers, and we never use your birth details for anything except the reading you asked for. Marketing emails go only to people who ticked the marketing box, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.
